The UR1 Festival, featuring artists such as Pete Tong, Bob Sinclair, Luciano, Erick Morillo, Arty, Kanye West, Lenny Kravitz, and many others will be cancelled, sources close to situation report.

To be held in a mere two weeks, the Miami music festival was a major undertaking to include multiple stages, venues, and genres over the weekend of December 8th and 9th. The official DJ of the Miami Heat, DJ Irie, was reportedly hired to host the main segments of the festival that he said was created "for the music lover." Now, it appears as if the weekend will be unfortunately quiet.

It is not clear at this point if the festival will be rescheduled for another date. Requests submitted to the festival organizers for official comment were not immediately answered.
