Foreign Beggars and Noisia release 'I Am Legion' LP
Foreign Beggars have teamed up with Noisia on a truly innovative 16 track album to debut their new super group, I Am Legion. Combing elements of all different genres and styles, this is one of the best well done experimental albums of our time.
The collaborative efforts going on in the world of EDM are absolutely tremendous. Working with as many people as they can to create intriguing and sometimes groundbreaking material, It seems as though everybody is trying to work with as many of their talented friends as possible. One such group at the forefront of EDM experimentation is Foreign Beggars. Working with the likes of Skrillex, Flux Pavilion, Koan Sound and many more, they’ve been fusing the realms of dance music and hip-hop for quite some time now. In another step forward, the two MCs have teamed up with Noisia on a truly innovative 16 track album to debut their new super group, I Am Legion.
The self titled I Am Legion LP features tracks focusing on hip-hop, dubstep/trap and even a few instrumentals that I really can’t deem any genre. There is a perfect balance between the two acts and amounts to a monumental new collaboration. With tracks like “Make Those Moves” featuring a heavy breakbeat and mad bars, one can see the strides that are being taken from the usual grime style with this insane Moombahcore tune. Other tracks like “Loose On The Leaves” and “Warp Speed Thuggin” are centered more on the lyrics, but the instrumentals still kill thanks to the phenomenal production and sound design of Noisia. This album is a must have, so make sure and buy it on iTunes or Beatport!
